Athar Haseebullah, Executive Director of the ACLU of Nevada, is a lawyer and strategist with extensive litigation and public policy experience. Since becoming Executive Director in 2021, Athar has led the organization to significant wins in Nevada courtrooms and legislative bodies on issues related to voting rights, criminal legal system reform, public education, government transparency, and other civil rights issues. He manages a statewide team of more than a dozen professionals at the ACLU-NV, and serves on the boards of several organizations, including the Urban Chamber of Commerce and Nevada GrantLab. Educated at Howard University and Howard University School of Law, Athar is based in Las Vegas where he grew up the son of immigrants from Pakistan. In his free time, he mentors young people in the community. ACLU-NV link here.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Assemblymember Howard Watts has dedicated his career to fighting for policies that preserve the environment, protect consumers, increase access to the ballot box, and ensure dignity for historically marginalized communities. Watts won election to the Nevada Assembly in 2018 representing District 15 in Las Vegas. He has served as Chair of the Committee on Natural Resources and Vice Chair of the Committee on Growth and Infrastructure and has successfully passed laws to improve water conservation, fight climate change, expand voting access and civil rights, protect public lands, and promote racial equity. Watts, a son of Culinary Union members and graduate of UNLV, lives with his partner Leora in Las Vegas where he owns and operates a public relations business. State website here.

PROJECT 2025 IS HAPPENING AS DEMS WARNED!
CALL & EMAIL REP. MARK AMODEI'S OFFICE TO OBJECT.
DC Office: (202) 225-6155 Fax: (202) 225-5679
Reno Office: (775) 686-5760
Enough is Enough!
Call Mark Amodei and let him know you want him to stand up to Donald Trump!
We have all been watching the news as Elon Musk waltzes into government agencies and takes them over under the guise of DOGE. He has installed his lackeys at OMB and at Treasury and taken hold of our most sensitive data. They are withholding payments authorized by Congress, and have been given ADMIN access to computer systems, which means they have read/write/coding privileges.
NO ONE ELECTED ELON MUSK. DOGE is not a legitimate government agency. It has no LEGAL POWER conferred by Congress to do any of the things it is doing now. Nor does Elon Musk.
We need to remind Mark Amodei of that!
Congressional Republicans are allowing Donald Trump to take their Constitutional powers from them without so much as a whimper. They are literally cutting Congress' and the country's throat in service to one man.
Please follow this link to learn more about this extreme anti-democratic manifesto, “Mandate for Leadership a Conservative Promise, Project 2025 Presidential Transition Project”, written and published by the Heritage Foundation, a major contributor and supporter of the Trump Campaign clearly stating it’s the campaigns “Transition Project” to a dangerous theocratic autocracy.
